    Bob A. Samuelson co-founded Samuelson Brothers, a general construction and commercial real estate development company in 1946.  The closely held company incorporated in 1957 and to date has built and/or developed over $200,000,000 of commercial real estate, through projects and partnerships which span several western states.  Samuelson Brothers sold its construction business in 1979.

    The Samuelson Brothers construction and commercial real estate development company has had an amazing record of achievement, being recognized with numerous awards from civic, business, construction and architectural associations for their special and unique contribution to community and work lifestyles.  As a contractor building commercial, education, office, religious, and manufacturing facilities, Mr. Samuelson has received numerous accolades from the construction industry.

    Bob currently is member of the Board of Trustees of California Lutheran University.  He has had a hand in the building of Cal Lutheran's campus from the beginning - including the Orville Dahl Centrum, Peters Hall, locker room additions, a number of the residence halls, the Samuelson Chapel, and the Soiland Humanities Center.  Mr. Samuelson has served as President of the La Canada Chamber of Commerce and has received Les Tupper Award for community service.
